2010 FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships

The 6th FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships was being held 15-23 July 2010 in Lac St-Jean in Roberval, Quebec, Canada. The championships featured a 5km, 10km and 25km races.

Participating countries

On 14 June 2010, the event organizers announced that 144 athletes from 30 countries entered the championships: Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Syria, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and USA.
