The 8 Bridges Hudson River Swim course covers 120 miles (193 km) in 7 stages over 7 days. The swim, co-founded by David Barra and Rondi Davies, begins at the Rip Van Winkle Bridge near Catskill, New York and ends at the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in New York City, U.S.A. Its stage swims are among the longest marathon swims and the longest stage swim in the world.
