Ana Marcela De Jesus S. Da Cunha is a world-class Brazilian open water swimmer who finished 5th in the 2008 Beijing Olympics 10K Marathon Swim and was the 2011 world 25K champion. She was the youngest competitor in the marathon field in the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim in Beijing.

Ana is one of the fastest swimmers in the FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup rankings and was selected as FINA's female open water swimmer of the year in 2010.

She participated in the 2011 FINA World Championships in the 10K Olympic qualifier in Shanghai, China, just missing out on automatically qualifying for the 2012 London Olympics but winning her first world swimming championship in the tough 25K distance. She won the first open water swimming race at a FINA World Championship event for Brazil.

She was nominated for the 2011 World Open Water Swimming Woman of the Year and won the sprint race at the 2011 Rei e Rainha Do Mar (King and Queen of the Sea) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
