Attila Molnar is a Hungarian open water swimmer and coach of the Hungarian open water swimming team. He was crowned the International Marathon Swimming Association world champion two years in a row. He won the 36 km (22.5-mile) Around-the-Island Marathon Swim in Atlantic City, USA in 1995 and finished second in the 40 km (25-mile) Traversée internationale du lac St-Jean professional marathon swim in 10 hours 20 minutes in Canada in 1995 and third in 10 hours 30 seconds in 1996. He was inducted in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame in 1998 as an Honour Swimmer.
