The Bayshore Triathlon is a small, local, casual and competitive event to start the triathlon season. The course features ocean and bay views and a post-party. The event is held in Alamitos Bay in Long Beach, CA. It features a fantastic course where athletes swim in calm bay waters, bike on a flat bike path towards the turnaround in Whittier and finish with a fast and protected run along the beach. The first event was held in 2010 put on by Barry Vince and Mike Ellis.
