Bill Heiss

Bill Heiss was a professional marathon swimmer in the 1970's and former Indiana University pool swimmer. He completed professional marathon swims such as the Pepsi Challenge Marathon Swim in Lake Michigan, finishing fifth in 15 hours 57 minutes, the 24 Heures La Tuque relay together with John Kinsella in Quebec, Canada, and the 1979 Maratón Acuática Internacional Santa Fe - Coronda, a 57 km (35-mile) race held in the Coronda River in Argentina.
