noun - Blue whales are the largest type of whales that can grow to 100 feet long and weight 190 tons. Calves are 20 feet long at birth and weigh about 5,000 pounds. Their voices can travel thousands of miles and a whale can recognize the voices of other whales. Large blue whales can eat up to 4 tons of krill per day.
