noun - Call Room is a designated indoor or outdoor area or indoor room where the swimmers gather before the race, often to listen to pre-race instructions from race officials or to store their personal gear before the race.

The swimmers were called to the Call Room 30 minutes before the start of the world championships.

Synonym: Ready Room.
