Damián Blaum, Capri - Naples 2010
Damián Blaum (born 11 June 1981 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Olympic open water swimmer and professional marathon swimmer from Argentina. Blaum swam for Argentina at the 2008 Olympics where he finished 24th in the Men's 10 km marathon swimming event.

He participated in the 2011 FINA World Championships in in Shanghai, China. He is also consistently one of the top marathon swimmers in the world on the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix including top finishes in the 32 km Traversée internationale du lac St-Jean and the 57 km Maratón Acuática Internacional Santa Fe - Coronda and a second place in the overall standings in the 2012 FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix series.

Blaum also was the handler for fellow professional marathon swimmer Trent Grimsey on his 6 hour 55 minute world record swim across the English Channel on 8 September 2012.

He is married to fellow professional marathon swimmer Esther Nunez Morera of Spain.
