[edit] Synopsis

It’s open season on open water swimmers in the fast-paced thriller. Set in the San Francisco Bay Area, protagonist Trisha Carson’s life is at an impasse. No money. No man. No mojo. That changes abruptly as she’s pulled into the competitive world of open water swimming. Baffling accidents keep her asking questions – to all the wrong people until she’s caught in a web of intrigue, revenge and danger. The exciting climax takes places at San Francisco’s Municipal Pier and Aquatic Park.

Dead in the Water is the first of three Trisha Carson mysteries. It is a debut novel by Glenda Carroll, former Pacific Masters open water swimming chairperson and Marin Independent sailing editor. Carroll lives in San Rafael, California. The paperback and EBook for Kindle are available on Amazon.com.
