The Deer Creek Open Water Marathon Swim is organized by Jim Hubbard (jim@wadsco.com) and sanctioned by Utah Masters USMS. The event has four races: 1 mile, 5 km, 10 km, and 10 miles and is one of America's Top 100 Open Water Swims. It is held in Deer Creek State Park in flat 72°F (22°C) water at 5,400-feet altitude (1,645 meters).
