Eva Fabian (born 3 August 1993) is a world-class pool and open water swimmer from the United States who is an incoming sophomore at Yale University in Connecticut. Fabian, coached by her father Jack Fabian, is considered to be one of the world's best open water swimmers from 1 mile to 25 kilometers. She was the 2010 USA Swimming Open Water Swimmer of the Year. She combines exceptional navigational IQ with incredible endurance and intelligent tactics that emphasize her strengths. She has aspirations to medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic 10K Marathon Swim and will participate in the 25 km marathon swim at the 2013 FINA World Championships]].

Marathon Swimming Career

In 2010 FINA World Open Water Swimming Champion in the 5K, she also won a silver medal in the 10K at the 2010 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships. She placed 10th in the 25K at the 2009 FINA World Championships and placed second in the 10K at the 2009 USA Swimming National Open Water Swimming Championships and won the 2009 USA Swimming National Open Water Swimming 5K Championships and the 2011 USA Swimming National Open Water Swimming 10K Championships. She finished fourth in the 10K at the 2009 Junior Pan Pacific Championships.

Her FINA World Swimming Championship results history: 2009: 10th in the 25K and 27th in the 10K. 2010: Gold in the 5K,
