FKCC Swim Around Key West is a 12.5-mile (20 km) solo and relay circumnavigation around Key West, Florida, U.S.A. Held annually in June, the FKCC Swim Around Key West is held in beautiful, shallow, generally calm warm waters (85°F or 29.4ºC) with the bottom of the ocean visible throughout the course. Race includes a solo swim, a 2-person relay, a 3-person relay, and a 6-person relay (mixed and all-female) and is organized by Lori Bosco of the Florida Keys Community College. It is one of the longest marathon swimming relays in the world in very warm water and is one of America's Top 100 Open Water Swims.
