Fin Donnelly

Fin Donnelly is a record-setting marathon swimmer and a New Democratic Party Member of Parliament for New Westminster-Coquitlam in Canada. He has done a number of marathon swims including crossing the Salish Sea and swimming down the 1,375 km length of Fraser River, British Columbia’s longest river.
The Canadian politician and member of the House of Commons of Canada is an environmental activist who has been active in raising public awareness of the rivers and watersheds of his home province of British Columbia. He has made fourteen marathon swims covering 3,200 km of British Columbia's rivers, lakes and the ocean, including twice swimming the 1,400 km length of the Fraser River.
Donnelly founded the Rivershed Society of British Columbia in 1996.
