verb, noun - Kick or flutter kick is a kicking movement by the legs used in freestyle swimming or the other swimming strokes (butterfly, backstroke or breaststroke). The legs move up and down, one leg kicking downwards as the other leg moves upwards. The knees are slightly bent and the toes are pointed to minimize drag.
