Freda Streeter in Dover
Freda Streeter
Freda Streeter from Great Britain was inducted in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame in 2005 as an Honour Observer. Streeter was recognized as a Trainer for coaching her daughter, Alison Streeter, the Queen of the Channel®, on her historic 34 hour and 40 minute three-way crossing of the English Channel in 1990.

Streeter also spends five months every year over the last two decades training English Channel swimmers on the weekends in Dover Harbour. She also visits other well-known training venues around the world to share her knowledge and passion. Hundreds of English Channel swimmers owe their success to her training, support and advice.
