Freedom Swim

The Freedom Swim is one of the world's toughest open water swimming competitions, a 7.5 km ocean swim from Robben Island to Big Bay, South Africa. Known for its cold waters, rough conditions and sharks, the pro-am Freedom Swim was part of the Cadiz Swim Series in the Western Cape of South Africa. It is one of the World's Top 100 Open Water Swims and draws top professional marathon swimmers and capable amateurs from around the world.
