Fremont Lake

Fremont Lake in July.

Fremont Lake is one of several lakes on the western side of the Wind River mountains in Wyoming, U.S.A. They are the result of glaciers coming down the valleys. Great fishing and ice fishing for lake trout. (Google Earth placemark)

The 9 mile length of the lake has been swum across twice, first by John Kelly in October 2011 in 6 hours 37 minutes. Followed by Gordon Gridley on July 14th, 2012 in 5 hours 58 minutes, 22 seconds.
