Great Chesapeake Bay Swim
The Great Chesapeak Bay Swim is one of the World's Top 100 Open Water Swims and America's Top 50 Open Water Swims. The event was found thirty years ago on 13 June 1982. It was the first major open water swim that was founded to benefit health-related charities in the United States. There is also a One Mile Challenge event swimming a triangular course that starts and ends at the finish location for the full crossing.
