The Heritage Day Swim is a 2.5 km and 5 km swim held on September 24th each year at Oceana Power Boat Club in the Western Cape of South Africa. It is part of the Cadiz Swim Series. Heritage Day celebrates South African culture in the form of creative expression, its historical inheritance, language, food, land, the wild life and scenic parks, sites of scientific or historical importance, national monuments, historic buildings, works of art, literature and music, oral traditions and museum collections together with their documentation. Its beneficiary is the Neighbourhood Old Age Homes.

Cadiz Swim Series

The Cadiz Swim Series includes the Cadiz Brian Curtis Mile, Cadiz Human Rights Day Swim, Cadiz Freedom Swim, Youth Day Swim, Women's Day Swim and Heritage Day Swim.
