Irish Marathon Swim Series

The 2013 Irish Marathon Swim Series is a series of marathon swims that includes the following events:

3 August – The Irish 17 km Championships in Lough Erne hosted by the Irish Long Distance Swimming Association, a point-to-point swim from Carrybridge to Enniskillen. There may also be a 25 km challenge swim on the same weekend to be confirmed.

10 August – 10 km Lough Gill Hospice Swim in County Sligo.

17 August – 5 km and 10 km Munster Open Water Championships held in Inniscarra Reservoir near Cork. The 5 km event doubles as the Irish 5 km Junior Championships. The Irish 5 km Senior Championships will be held on the same day in Lough Dan, County Wicklow. The 16 km Cork to Cobh Charity Swim is held in the Port of Cork.

18 August – 25 km Munster Open Water Championships that doubles as the Irish 25 km Championships and a 5 x 5 km relay event.

25 August – 10 km Lord & Lady of the Lake at the Camlough Lake Water Festival that doublse as the Irish 10 km Championships.

22 September - 10 km Bray to Greystones (Wicklow) Sea Swim
