Jamshid Khajavi

Jamshid Khajavi is an open water swimmer from Iran who has crossed the Strait of Gibraltar on 15 August 2003 in a time of 5 hours 45 minutes. He also crossed the [[Strait of Gibraltar] in 3 hours 30 minutes in 2005 at the age of 53 to become a member of the Half Century Club. He also crossed the Catalina Channel in 1990 from Catalina to the mainland in 16 hours 7 minutes and again in 1998 in 14 hours 52 minutes.
