Swim Across America Long Beach is a multi-race charity event with 100m, 800m, 1.5 km, 5 km and 10 km swims held in Marine Stadium, Long Beach, California in September.

It is held in conjunction with the annual Global Open Water Swimming Conference and the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame induction ceremonies as a fund-raiser for the MemorialCare Hospital's Todd Cancer Institute in Long Beach.

In addition to hundreds of swimmers from ages 8 - 71 who swam in the calm 19-21°C (67-70°F) waters under bright skies, swimming luminaries such as world champion Ashley Twichell, the Limbless Waterman Craig Dietz, Olympic medalists Janel Jorgensen, Brian Goodell and John Moffett, 7-time world champion Shelley Taylor-Smith, Channel Swimming Association president Mike Read, the Big River Man Martin Strel, Ocean Recovery Alliance founder Doug Woodring, Waikiki Roughwater Swim president Kaia Hedlund, English Channel swimmers Marcy MacDonald and Liz Fry, Midmar Mile race director Wayne Riddin, FINA TOWSC member Dr. Khwaja Aziz, and several USA Swimming national team members and 2012 London Olympics open water swimming officials, including Ricardo Ratto, also participated.

The event held in the rowing basin in Long Beach (the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic Games rowing venue) was broadcast live online by TakeItLive's Chris Lundie.
