Jim Barber is an American open water swimmer from Indianapolis, Indiana who is a member of the
Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming and a member of the
Half Century Club with his 8 hour 43 minute crossing of the
Catalina Channel (Catalina to Mainland) in 2010 at the age of 50. He was also on the cover of
U.S. Masters Swimming SWIMMER Magazine in 2012.
