Jon-Paul St. Germain is a passionate, committed and professional executive with the Special Olympics. He worked hard and long, together with Kester Edwards to get open water swimming accepted into the Special Olympics World Summer Games. Without precedent for the first time in Special Olympics history, Special Olympics athletes had an opportunity to compete on the world's stage in the sport of open water swimming.

St. Germain is a Director at Special Olympics, Inc. where he serves at a Director at Special Olympics International and the Director, World Games and Competitions at Special Olympics, Inc.

Previously, he also served as the Special Olympics International Project Leader at the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games and at the 2005 Special Olympics Winter Games, and the Special Olympics International Liaison at the 1999 Special Olympics World Summer Games. He also served as the Manager for Venue Development at 1995 Special Olympics World Summer Games.
