Jordan Wilimovsky

Jordan Wilimovsky is from Malibu, California and a distance freestyle competitive swimmer from Team Santa Monica and Northwestern University. He placed second in the 2012 USA Swimming National Open Water Swimming Championships 5 km race in Fort Myers, Florida. He is a member of the 2012-2013 USA Swimming Open Water Junior National Team and won the 2013 Big Shoulders 5 km race in Lake Michigan.

International Career

He won the silver medal in the 17-18 age-group 7.5 km race at the inaugural 2012 FINA World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships in Welland, Ontario, Canada.

He finished 14th in the 25 km event at the 2013 FINA World Swimming Championships in Barcelona, Spain.

He finished second at the 2013 Flowers Sea Swim and the 2013 Flowers International 5k and 10k Swim in the Cayman Islands.

USA Swimming Junior National Open Water Swimming Team

Coached by Bruce Gemmell and Dave Kelsheimer, the USA Swimming Junior National Open Water Swimming Team will compete at the first FINA World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships held in 12-20 August 2012 in Welland, Ontario, Canada against swimmers from more than 30 nations, including Russia, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Argentina and South Africa. Wilimovsky will join Team Santa Monica teammates Brendan Casey and Liliana Casso in Canada.
