Kevin Anderson is a South African open water swimmer who was formerly the youngest English Channel swimmer when he crossed the Channel from England to France in 12 hours 22 minutes in August 1979 under the governance of the Channel Swimming Association.

Dr. Kevin Anderson is an American open water swimmer from Long Beach, California. He has swum for most of his life in the pool and ocean, and is a member of the La Jolla Cove Swim Club. Kevin's son is a 2012 USA Olympic Trials Qualifier in the 200 meter backstroke. He finished the 2012 Manhattan Island Marathon Swim and completed a crossing of the Catalina Channel in 11 hours 57 minutes on 14 October 2011.
