Loch Ness Monster Swim

Loch Ness Monster Swim was the third of three match races against Des Renford and Kevin Murphy in August 1977. Neither man finished the swim that came after Murphy beat Renford in the first 16 km Sydney Harbour race and Renford beat Murphy in the second English Channel race. The swim was part of the documentary film called King of the Channel, produced and filmed by Bob Armstrong that was distributed worldwide.

The First Monster Swim Loch Ness was a one-mile open water swim in Loch Ness, Scotland held in August 2011. The third annual swim will be held in 2013.
