Mark Sollinger

Mark Sollinger is the Operations Chief for Diana Nyad's swim across the Florida Strait from Cuba to Florida. He works closely with navigator John Bartlett to confirm the escort boat is very close to Nyad, takes the shortest and most efficient route across the Florida Strait. He leads the 35-person crew in all their various assignments and takes charge in the event of emergencies at sea.
