Mirentxu Vignau

Mirentxu Vignau is one of the founders of the open water swimming brand and project MARNATON together with original visionary Miguel Rahola and a host of other open water swimming collaborators in the Catalonia region of Spain. MARNATON is a combination of three Spanish words: MAR (sea) + NATACIÓN (swimming) + MARATHON. He organises the MARNATON eDreams Cap de Creus - Cadaqués, MARNATON eDreams Garraf - Sitges and the MARNATON eDreams de la Luna events.
Events
MARNATON eDreams Cap de Creus - Cadaqués is an annual event in September where swimmers traverse 6.5 km between the Cap de Creus and Cadaqués.
MARNATON eDreams de la Luna is a 3.8 km open water swim in northern Spain in mid-July from the Puerto de St. Feliu de Guixols to Playa de Sa Conca (S'Agaró) that ends with a delicious meal on the beach.
MARNATON eDreams Garraf - Sitges is a 10 km swim held annually in October. More than 200 swimmers traverse across the Coastal Natural Park of Garraf from Cala Ginesta (Port Ginesta) to the Playa de la Fragata (Sitges).
