Mona Al Sharari is an open water swimmer who successfully crossed the English Channel on 12 September 2012 as a charity swim for Oxfam.

She will also attempt to swim the length of Lake Ontario in a 305 km relay together with 61-year-old Colleen Shields, 48-year-old Nicole Mallette, 23-year-old Samantha Whiteside, and 18-year-old Rebekah Boscariol starting on 23 July 2013. They will swim in 2-hour legs throughout the expected 5-day non-stop unprecedented relay.
