Peter Gibbs is an open water swimmer from Barbados who is a member of the Lake Ontario Half Century Club, a group of swimmers who have successfully crossed Lake Ontario Channel past their 50th birthday. Gibbs crossed Lake Ontario in 2004 in 18 hours 40 minutes.
