Noun - Physical Exposure is the experience that open water swimmers and triathletes face when swimming in an open body of water and experiencing the natural elements without clothes or protective swimwear. It is one of the five core physiological and psychological obstacles that open water swimmers and triathletes face (endure), along with Solitary Adversity, Absence of Perception, Survival Dependence, and Intensity of Experience.
