Pierre Lafontaine

Pierre Lafontaine is the CEO and National Coach for Swimming Canada. He annually oversees a FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup and FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix in Quebec, Canada and also will host the 2014 World Masters Championships in Montreal and the 2012 World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships in Ontario as well as the 2010 World Open Water Swimming Championships.

Lafontaine is also currently serving as a member of the UANA Technical Open Water Swimming Committee along with Jose Ismael Gonzales, Executive Committee Liaison from Guatemala, Denny Ryther, Chairman from the USA, Jorge Delgado of Ecuador, Chantal Van Keekin Frederik from Suriname, Tomas Haces German from Cuba, Gladys Mejia Garcia from El Salvador, and Ron Jacks from Canada.
