Rostislav Vitek is a professional open water swimmer from the Czech Republic. A multi-versatile athlete, he competes in the 5K, 10K and 25K events. He finished 17th at the 2008 Olympic Summer Games in the inaugural Olympic 10K Marathon Swim with a time of 1 hour 52 minutes 41 seconds. He is also one of the fastest English Channel swimmers in history.

He participated in the 2011 FINA World Championships in Shanghai, China and is currently competing in the 2012 FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix circuit.
