Rostislav Vitek

Rostislav Vitek is a professional open water swimmer from the Czech Republic. A multi-versatile athlete, he competes in the 5K, 10K and 25K events. He finished 17th at the 2008 Olympic Summer Games in the inaugural Olympic 10K Marathon Swim with a time of 1 hour 52 minutes 41 seconds.He participated in the 2011 FINA World Championships in Shanghai, China and is currently competing in the 2012 FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix circuit.
