Russell Chaffee

Russell Chaffee was an American marathon swimmer from Sayre, Pennsylvnia who was the first person to successfully swim the P2P Swim, a 20-mile marathon swim from Plymouth to Provincetown across the Massachusetts Bay (known as the American Channel) on 14 August 1968 in 14 hours 40 minutes.
