Shadow Cliffs Open Water Aquatics Team or SOWAT is a group of open water swimmers in the San Francisco Bay Area in northern California, USA that celebrated its 30th year in existence in 2011. The group hosts a forum where swimmers can communicate with each and coordinate times to meet at their home venue, and receive notifications on conditions of the lake, a former gravel quarry located at the Shadow Cliffs Regional Park in Pleasanton, California, USA.
