Simone Ercoli
Simone Ercoli (born on 5 May 1979 in Castelfiorentino, Italy) is a male professional marathon swimmer from Italy. He won the opening leg at the 2013 FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix race in Rosario, Argentina and the second leg at the Maratón Acuática Internacional Santa Fe - Coronda in Argentina. He finished third overall in the 2013 FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix professional circuit, just 1 point out of first.

Ercoli has swum for Italy at the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix events in addition to the following events:


La sua carriera internazionale inizia nel 2000 quando giunge ottavo nei 5km agli Europei di Helsinki.

Vanta anche un secondo posto alla Coppa LEN del 2005 a Siviglia e una vittoria in coppa del mondo nel 2009.
