noun - Single-digit water describes the water temperature of any open body of water that is below 10ºC (50ºF). Single-digit swimming is swimming in water below 10ºC (50ºF) without a wetsuit.

The Sandycove Island training group regularly trains in single-digit water throughout the winter.
