Steve Schlom (born May 15, 1969) is a member of the
Dawn Patrol with
Scott Meyer,
Chris Geer,
Pete Cassiano,
Matt Hanson,
Michael Bergkvist, and
Shawn Oatey. The Dawn Patrol trains at the Long Beach Yacht Club pool, outside the Seal Beach Pier (with the
Seal Beach Sea Monkeys, and in the inner bay at Belmont Shore.
A father of three studly swimmer kids (Bradley, Jillian, and Josie) and a fireman, Schlom is a South Bay kid who now makes his home in Naples (with his beautiful wife Julie) and his living with the Riverside Fire Department.
