noun - Sting Stopper is a skin ointment used to protect against the venom by the box jellyfish developed by Dr. Angel Yanagihara of the University of Hawaii and used during Diana Nyad's 103-mile solo swim across the Straits of Florida from Cuba to Florida in September 2013.
