Taranath Narayan Shenoy

Taranath Narayan Shenoy is a member of the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming for having completed the English Channel, Catalina Channel and Manhattan Island Marathon Swim. He is a marathon swimmer from India who was inducted in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame in 1987 as an Honour Swimmer. He also completed the Strait of Gibraltar on 4 August 1988 in 5 hours 45 minutes at the age of 29 to complete 3 of the Oceans Seven channels.

He has completed 2 Manhattan Island Marathon Swim: on 19 August 1989 in 8:29:24 and on 9 August 1987 in 8:21:09.
