The Mad Swim

The Mad Swim or the Madagascar Swim was a 458 km stage swim and charity event that took 24 days and a cumulative total of 155 hours in the water between 28 February and 23 March 2014 by Thane Guy Williams and Jonno Proudfoot, a pair of South African open water swimmers, who swam across the Mozambique Channel from Mozambique to Madagascar in an unassisted manner.
