Tom Dodd is currently the Head Swim Coach and Aquatic Director at California Lutheran University in California.

Hall of Fame

He was inducted in the Whitworth University Heritage Gallery Hall of Fame. Dodd coached Whitworth swimming for 16 seasons (1987 – 2003), earning NAIA Men’s Coach of the Year honors in 1996 after leading the Pirates to a runner-up finish at the national championships. He was also named Northwest Conference Coach of the Year (either men or women) eight times. Dodd coached six different swimmers to individual national championships (either NAIA or NCAA Division III) and also had two national champion relays. Dodd’s swimmers produced 132 individual NAIA All-American or Honorable Mention All-American performances (1988-98) and 47 individual NCAA All-American or Honorable Mention All-American performances.
