Tom Healy is an Irish open water swimmer from Dublin and the Glenalbyn Swim Club who won the masters division of the 2011 International Self-Transcendence Marathon Swim in Lake Zurich, Switzerland and the 2012 15 km Lough Sheelin Swim in Ireland. He successfully completed the English Channel in 2012.

Honours

Healy was awarded the Male Swimmer of the Year by the Irish Long Distance Swimming Association in 2012 for his outstanding performance in completing his English Channel swim in 9 hours 51 minutes, breaking the previous Irish record of 10 hours 19 minutes.

Healy was also awarded the Des Renford Award for the most meritorious swim of the year by a man by the Channel Swimming & Piloting Federation in 2012.
