Honoring the K9 Heroes
The Tom Wear Memorial Swim is a 1-mile charity swim that is held in New Jersey as part of the annual Lake Hopatcong Open Water Swim Festival.

The Tom Wear Memorial Swim honors the K9 Heroes of 9/11 and all proceeds will go to the following charities: Southern Tier Police Canine Association, 11 Hour Rescue and Jefferson Township Animal Pound The Swim has special K9 demonstrations during registration and after the event that is held in Lake Hopatcong, the largest lake in the state of New Jersey.
