Alex Flynn's Trans America Challenge
The Trans America Challenge is a solo endurance challenge across the continental United States of America by adventurer Alex Flynn, a solo attempt to run, row, cycle and swim 10 million meters (over 3,500 miles) across the United States as a £1 million fundraiser for Parkinson's research.

Alex Flynn

Flynn from Henley, England is a former lawyer, public speaker, endurance athlete and public speaker. He suffers from early-onset Parkinson's Disease but he continues on his path to complete the Trans America Challenge.

His disease, which he describes as being encased in concrete, is an incurable degenerative disorder of the central nervous system, threatening to take away his ability to move.
