Wasatch Front Polar Bear Club regular members: Goody Tyler, Gordon Gridley, Josh Green and Jim Hubbard, prepare to enter the icy Great Salt Lake
The Wasatch Front Polar Bear Club was created by local Utah swimmers to appreciate the love for swimming in cold water. The club meets weekly throughout the winter months for varying distances. The club is not an official organization with membership or accepting dues. Just a group of crazy cold water loving friends who dare to challenge their minds and bodies.

Anyone is welcome and encouraged to participate with their polar plunges and swims. There is an open member facebook page where the weekly swims are planned. However, you need a facebook account to view the page.

One of the co-founders, Goody Tyler IV, completed an ice swim under the auspices of the International Ice Swimming Association on 13 December 2012.
