William "Davis" Lee is an open water swimmer from Man-O-War Cay, Abaco, Bahamas who completed the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim on 23 June 2012 to become the 50th member of the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming, the 2009 and 2011 Boston Light Swim, the Catalina Channel on 26 July 2011 in 9 hours 46 minutes and the English Channel on 28 September 2010 in 12 hours 41 minutes, and the 10-mile Kingdom Swim. With his circumnavigation of Manhattan Island in the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim on 23 June 2012, he has achieved his goal of joining the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming. He is coached by Andrew Soracco.A physicist, he received his doctorate in physics from MIT, a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Washington.
